NDA eligibility criteria basically includes different parameters such as NDA age limit, Candidates qualification, physical and medical standards. NDA Eligibility 2023
NDA exam is conducted for selection of the eligible candidates for the Indian Armed forces. UPSC conducts NDA exam twice in a year. From the year 2021, female candidates are also eligible for the NDA. SSB interview is the second level for the candidates qualifying in the written exam. To be eligible for the further process the candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the NDA exam and the selection process. The male and female NDA eligibility criteria consists of factors such as NDA age limit, nationality, NDA qualification, physical and medical test. NDA Age Limit 2023
As stated on the NDA 2023 eligibility criteria only unmarried Male and Female candidates having age between 16.5 to 19.5 are only eligible for the NDA exam. The candidates must ensure that they fall under this age limit before applying for the NDA 2023.The committee will accept the DOB that is filled in Class 10 and 12 certificates. These certificates are to be submitted by the candidates after the declaration of the result of the written exam.The age limit for female candidates is same as the male candidates i.e 16.5 to 19.5.
- 2023- NDA 1st age limit is the candidates must be born not before July 2,2003 and not after July 1,2006
- 2023- NDA 2nd age limit the candidates should not have been born earlier than 2004,January 2 and not after January 1,2007.
Female Eligibility for NDA exam
As mentioned earlier that from 2021, Females candidates have also become eligible to appear for the NDA. A petition was filed by a person in the supreme court for allowing the female candidates to appear in the NDA exam. The NDA eligibility criteria for female candidates is educational qualifications, age limit, marital status. Overall the NDA eligibility for female candidates is same as Male candidates. The physical standards required and NDA qualification for Female and Male are same.Candidates should not marry before or during their training process. Marrying during the training, the candidate will be immediately discharged from the process and will be required to refund all the expenditure spent on him or her by the government.
NDA qualification for 2023
NDA qualification is an important criteria for the selection of the candidates for the further selection process. This criteria is the same for the Male as well as Female candidates. Candidates can check below for the NDA qualification requirements. Candidates appearing in class 11 exams are not eligible. Candidates should have passed in Class 12 or equal exam are eligible for applying for the exam. There is no percentage criteria for class 12.
NDA Qualification for Naval wings and Air force-
The candidates who have passed in Class 12 or equivalent exam with the subjects as Physics, chemistry and Math from a recognized educational board.
NDA qualification for Army wing–
The candidates who have passed in Class 12 or equal examination from a recognized educational board.
NDA Physical test 2023:
Candidates should be physically fit as per the medical and physical standards set under the NDA eligibility criteria.The main focus during the Physical test are Chest, Weight and Height.
