Vulcan’s Glory by D. C. FontanaD. C. The crew is sent to Areta where a group of Vulcan archeologists have discovered the Vulcan’s Glory, a fabulous emerald enmeshed in the history and mythology of the Vulcan people. Once aboard the Enterprise the gem disappears, and murder and suspicion ensue with Spock caught in the middle of the investigation and in the midst of negotiating his unique heritage.
